Destination Vacation will be held on June 5-6, 2026 at Clarkston High School in Clarkston, Michigan. Spotlight’s recital weekend includes multiple shows across Friday and Saturday.
Dress rehearsal is mandatory and will take place on June 3-4, 2026, the Wednesday and Thursday before recital, at Clarkston High School. Rehearsals typically begin around 4:00 PM and wrap up by about 9:30 PM.
Dancers should check in backstage 30 minutes before show time. The backstage entrance is located to the right of the theater entrance. Once checked in, dancers should be performance-ready. Water is fine backstage, but no food or snacks are allowed. Volunteers will also have activities available for younger dancers while they wait.
Dancers should arrive in the correct costume with the required shoes, tights, and accessories for each routine. Use the recital packet and class communication for finalized hair, makeup, and costume details as recital gets closer.
Your dancer’s recital show is listed next to the class name when registering. It also appears in the online registration portal and on Spotlight’s class schedule, available here.
