One of the most exciting, fun, and valuable experiences for our students is the opportunity to take lessons from the classroom to the stage which comes at our annual recitals each June. Recital consists of three, all different, shows performed at Clarkston High School.

This year our students will put on a Friday evening, Saturday matinee, and Saturday evening show. Students get a chance to experience the stage at dress rehearsals the Wednesday and Thursday before the shows. Attendance for dress rehearsal is mandatory. Specific dates and times for our shows will be announced this Fall. Watching our students do what they love is the best part of the what we do at Spotlight!

How do I know which recital my child will be in?

When registering for a class you will see the recital show next to the class name. This appears in our online registration portal and in the schedule page on our website.

How do I buy recital tickets?

Recital tickets will go on sale in the Spring. Tickets will be available through an online portal where you can select your seats and order souvenir tickets if you wish. Tickets can be purchased right up to the start of the event but the best seats do sell out early.

When and where is recital?

Spotlight will be holding its 2024-2025 recital in Early-Mid June 2025, dates will be announced in the fall. Dress rehearsal will take place the Wednesday and Thursday prior to the show. We hold our end of year recitals at Clarkston High School in Clarkston, MI. Click here for directions
